Italy is a country located in Southern Europe. Its known for its beautiful attractions, but its mainly known for their mind-blowing food. The recipes below will take you on a smooth trip to Italy.

Lemon Pasta

A beautiful pasta with a nice lemony taste that will blow you away.

Ingredients:

8 ounces spaghetti

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, sliced into pats

2 tablespoons lemon zest, plus more for garnish

2 garlic cloves, minced

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, plus more to taste

Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Chopped fresh parsley or basil leaves, for garnish.

 

Recipe:

 Fill a big pot up with water. Heat until boiling.(AA)

Start cooking pasta based off package instructions. Make sure to leave 1 cup of starchy pasta water left during the final minutes of cooking.

When the pasta is almost done, place butter onto a skillet over around medium heat. Continue heating until the butter starts to foam, and then turn the power to low. After that, add your lemon, zest, and garlic. Keep stirring for around 2 minutes. 

After the pasta is ready, or al dente, use tongs or other kitchen tools to transfer the pasta from the pot to your skillet.(AA)

Then, using your cup of reserved pasta water, pour half of it into the butter mixture, and continue cooking over low heat.

While cooking, toss and mix the pasta until the sauce lightly coats the pasta. 

After this, add lemon juice and cheese and keep tossing. 

In case the pasta becomes clumpy, use some of the reserved pasta water to balance it.

Season your pasta with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and other seasonings as you wish.

After that, garnish with lemon zest, and parsley. Finally, serve with more cheese on top.

Fettucine Alfredo

A creamy, thick pasta that is so cheesy you will be covered with it.

12 ounces cauliflower florets, (1 small cauliflower)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, more for serving

¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

2 garlic cloves

½ teaspoon Dijon mustard

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon sea salt

Freshly ground black pepper

16 ounces fettuccine pasta

1 to 1½ cups reserved pasta cooking water

Chopped fresh parsley

Recipe:

Add saltwater to a large pot. Heat until the water is boiling. 

Add the cauliflower into the water for 8-10 minutes.

Drain the cauliflower and place in a blender. Add cheese, pepper, olive oil, mustard, butter, lemon juice, and salt. 

Start cooking your pasta in the salted boiling water according to the package directions. Drain the pasta, keeping 1 ½ of the starchy water as a reserve. Add 1 cup of this water into the blender, then blend until the sauce is creamy. Take the sauce and pasta and move it to a skillet. Then, start tossing and turning the pasta until the sauce is lightly glazing the pasta. Use the remainder of the starchy water to make the sauce creamier if needed. Then. serve on a plate and enjoy!

Eggplant Parmesan

The yummiest eggplant dish

you will ever try.

Ingredients:

2 large eggplants

Breadcrumbs

Marinara sauce

Parmigiano Reggiano

Mozzerella Cheese

Eggs

Flour

Garlic Powder

Italian Herbs

Fresh basil and oregano

Recipe:

Slice the eggplants into thin slices. Afterwards, place on a tray and salt them, and let them sti for 10 minutes. Afterwards, using a paper towel or towel, pat the eggplants dry, and remove excess salt. Next, place your flour in a bowl and coat the eggplant on both sides with flour. Then, whisk some eggs into a bowl and coat your eggplant with the eggs. Next, place breadcrumbs into a bowl, and coat your eggplant slices in breadcrumbs too. After that, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Farenheit. Taking a sheet pan, coat   the bottom with olive oil and then arrange the eggplant slices on the pan. Next, bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Take out another baking dish, and spread marinara sauce on the dish. Afterwards, place your browned eggplant slices onto the dish. Layer the slices with mozzarella cheese and another spoon on marinara sauce. Finally, place your parmigiano reggiano, or parmesan, onto the slices and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Take it out of the oven, top with basil and oregano, then enjoy!

Mozzerella Sticks

The cheesiest thing you will ever try.

Ingredients:

Panko Breadcrumbs

Italian Seasoning

Salt

Flour

Eggs 

Mozzarella

Vegetable oil


Recipe:
First Cut the Cheese into thin and crunchy blocks. Place your flour into a bowl and coat your cheese strips in flour.  Next, whisk some eggs into another bowl, and coat your cheese strips into the eggs.  Then, in a separate bowl, place your breadcrumbs into the bowl. Coat your cheese strips in breadcrumbs. Place your cheese strips into the freezer for an hour. In the meantime, take out a large pan and pour oil over it. Wait until the oil is ready to be fried. (AA) Be careful not to spill any on you. Afterwards, fry your cheese sticks until they appear fully fried or golden brown. You can serve with marinara sauce, and add any seasonings on top of the sticks before serving. Enjoy!

One Pot Garlic Chicken Parmesan Pasta

2 tablespoons of avocado oil

Boneless skinless chicken breast, cubes(1lb)

2 tablespoons of lemon garlic seasoning

1 teaspoon of paprika

Half a tablespoon of dried italian seasoning

kosher salt

Black pepper

4 garlic cloves

1lb of rigatoni pasta( dried)

4 cups of chicken stock

1 cup of heavy cream

8 ounces of cream cheese

1 cup of shreded parmesan

1 lemon, juiced

Fresh parsley, chopped

 

Recipe: Heat the avocado oil over medium heat on a large skillet.Sprinkle the chicken evenly with the lemon-garlic seasoning, paprika, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste. Add the chicken to the skillet, and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides, 4-5 minutes. Add the garlic, and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in the rigatoni, chicken stock, cream cheese, and heavy cream.Stir occasionally for 10-12 minutes.Then stir in the parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper for taste. Finally, add the parsley. Enjoy!
